About Olive Branch House
Our mission is to provide a safe, structured, and affordable co-ed sober living environment in San Antonio, Texas, where men and women in recovery can rebuild their lives with dignity, accountability, and real opportunity.
We started Olive Branch House because we saw too many people relapse not because they lacked willpower, but because they lacked stability—especially financial stability. Without reliable income, transportation, or job options (often due to criminal backgrounds), staying in sober housing becomes nearly impossible.
That’s why our on-site Work-from-Home Program is central to what we do. We invested in a fully equipped professional workspace—computers, high-speed internet, printers, phones, and private stations—so residents can find and keep remote jobs without those common barriers. This program gives participants the income needed to remain in recovery housing long-term, build savings, and move toward independence.
In addition to employment support, we offer:
- Clear house rules and random testing for a sober environment
- Weekly meetings and peer accountability
- Shared responsibilities that build routine and pride
- A peaceful, welcoming home with full amenities
Olive Branch House is more than a place to live—it’s a community committed to helping you succeed in sobriety and life. We believe that with the right structure, support, and opportunities, lasting recovery is possible for everyone.
Olive Branch House is committed to providing safe, affordable, and supportive housing for adults transitioning from incarceration, treatment, or unstable living situations. Our mission is to foster accountability, stability, and personal growth by offering a structured, sober environment where residents can rebuild their lives with dignity, purpose, and community support.
At Olive Branch House, our vision is to be a place of restoration, stability, and opportunity—where individuals from all walks of life are given the chance to rebuild with dignity, purpose, and hope.
We envision a community where men and women overcoming addiction, reentry challenges, disability, or life disruption are supported in becoming self-sufficient, responsible, and connected members of society. Through faith-centered principles, accountability, and practical life support, we aim to break cycles of instability and create lasting change.
Our goal is to expand access to safe, affordable, and supportive housing while developing innovative pathways to employment, independence, and long-term recovery—so every resident who walks through our doors has a real opportunity to move forward, not just survive.
Accountability
We believe personal responsibility is essential to growth. Residents are expected to follow house rules, participate actively in their recovery or reentry plan, and take ownership of their actions and progress.
Respect
We foster a culture of mutual respect—for ourselves, others, the home, and the surrounding community. Everyone is treated with dignity, regardless of background or circumstance.
Integrity
We operate with honesty, transparency, and consistency. Clear expectations, fair enforcement of rules, and ethical decision-making guide everything we do.
Faith & Hope
As a faith-based home, we believe in restoration, forgiveness, and new beginnings. We offer encouragement, guidance, and support rooted in faith while respecting each individual’s personal journey.
Community
Recovery and reentry are not meant to be done alone. We promote healthy relationships, peer support, and a sense of belonging within a safe and structured living environment.
Safety & Stability
We prioritize a substance-free, structured home where residents can focus on healing, rebuilding, and personal development without chaos or distraction.
Growth & Self-Sufficiency
Our goal is not just housing, but progress. We support residents in developing life skills, securing employment, and working toward independence and long-term stability.
Service & Responsibility
We encourage residents to give back through positive actions, service, and leadership within the house and the community, reinforcing purpose and accountability.
