Yes, Olive Branch House is a faith-based recovery program. We believe that spiritual growth and connection to a higher power play a vital role in lasting sobriety and personal transformation. Our approach integrates christian principles of grace, forgiveness, accountability, and hope, while remaining welcoming to all who are committed to recovery.

No. We welcome individuals from all faith backgrounds (or no faith background at all) who are open to spiritual growth and respectful of our faith-based environment. The house operates with christian values as its foundation, but participation in religious activities is encouraged rather than strictly required. Everyone is expected to respect the spiritual focus of the home.

  • Weekly house meetings include optional prayer, scripture reading, and discussions on faith and recovery.
  • We encourage attendance at faith-based recovery support groups (e.g., Celebrate Recovery, AA/NA with a spiritual focus, or church services) as part of the program.
  • The overall atmosphere is guided by christian principles: love, forgiveness, service to others, and personal responsibility.
  • Residents are free to practice their own faith (or explore faith) in a supportive, non-judgmental way.

We believe faith provides strength, purpose, hope, and community—key elements in overcoming addiction. Many residents find that spiritual practices help them:

  • Manage triggers and stress
  • Develop accountability and humility
  • Build resilience and a sense of meaning beyond themselves

Our faith-based approach complements the structure, peer support, work-from-home program, and accountability tools we provide.

No. We are an independent sober living home, not affiliated with any particular church or denomination. Our faith-based principles are rooted in broad christian values of grace, redemption, and community, and we welcome collaboration with local churches and recovery ministries.
